Best on-demand roadside assistance apps for remote indie film productions?

We are taking a heavily loaded equipment van across the desert next month to shoot some ambient landscape footage. Traditional auto club memberships have failed me in the past with terrible dispatch software and long wait times. Do any of you use specific on-demand towing apps that actually have reliable GPS tracking for remote breakdowns?

Honestly, relying solely on mobile apps in remote areas is risky because of cellular dead zones. I always download offline topographical maps and keep a physical list of local heavy-duty towing companies for every county we cross. Software is great until you lose your data connection in the mountains.
