My Western Digital MyBook WD10EADS hard drive, I have been trying to recover it with the following tools: testdisk for partition restore, photorec, recoverjpeg, wondershare's recoverit, using dd to copy.
all the tools photorec, recoverjpeg, and recoverit, returns valid icons (looks like it could be from a recovery partition), but nothing in my main partition, i see a lot files that don't make any sense, like .swf files. Does anyone know how to get the partition information (i thought testdisk would do this). Hopefully finding the partition table then mounting it will show valid information.
Test disk returns
