Hi

Got this drive that was not being detected. After swapped PCB to SATA and write ROM, I also couldn't get the drive ID.
So, I changed DIR address and I can already see SA and get the modules.
All heads test OK.
I see that I have the following bad modules:

012D
022D
002D
002E
32 - Relo List
4002
0050
0021
0024
0012E

My main question is about modules 32 and 21.
Can I write them from a donor?

For 21 (SMART) and 32(RELO) both can be written from donor, but what is common is the inability to write changes to these locations due to some surface reading error or bad sector at SA.

Try to write from donor, then after writing if successful try to run relo fix to clear any donor relo defets and prevent reallocation from happening. If it does not write then you would need to modify the position of the #32 at the directory table and move it to some unused area of the SA then write from a donor and clear.
