WD My Passport Pro - Two Drives

Anyone had a chance to work on one of these dual drive passports yet?

I think the concept of RAID 1 in there is sort of cool, but I assume that if you drop it good, it'll just have a synchronized head crash. But, the cool part will be that if some heads work in each drive, you might be able to image by head map from one drive, switch out and image the remaining heads from the other drive. I can't wait to try it.

I had some of them here for recovery, clients messed with their RAID-0 config and did a quick format. I think the default config with these drives is RAID-0 for video editing But most of the data was recovered :mrgreen:

RAID 0 Default! Really, then we'll be seeing a lot of them in I imagine. And getting to charge RAID rates.

Just out of curiosity, what was the default RAID config? Might be good to know in advance.
