If you have PC-3000 try accessing it as a Hitachi family drive. It might not auto detect, but you may well find a family that works for it. I'm not sure if this is one of the truly native 3.5" Toshiba drives or not. I know the DT01ACA300 is a true Toshiba, not HGST. You'll be able to tell by whether or not it accepts the techno key from Hitachi utility.
If it is a true Toshiba, then you can use the MQ01ABA family to get terminal access. The utility won't be able to do much, but you might be able to clear the G-list which is sometimes the cause of the clicking.
