ST9500325AS heads...

Hi Guys

I have this Seagate here that was already checked by another lab, and they told that SA was damage and can't be recovered.
HDD have the "supposed" new heads inside.
I have replaced heads once again, without any luck either, but 2 things come to mind:
1º: donor heads came out clean from patient and they work all right on donor. So media damage it's not visible. Even the "original" heads are completely clean.
Can platers be bad?
2º: I see these white dots on the "original" heads. I never saw this. It is normal?

I have done ROM headmap change and nothing either..
What do you guys think?

Thanks

What "white dots" are you talking about? I see the glare of light hitting the topography of the slider, but no odd white dots.

If the heads supposedly replaced by the other company and your donor heads both work in a donor drive, it's probably media damage to the SA.

It could also be that the original heads were different, perhaps with different style sliders, but you have no way to check that since the other heads aren't available now. Does the donor drive stay spinning if you use the patient PCB on it? That might rule out heads incompatibility.
