Simple Method to Convert MBOX Files into EML Format?

I have several MBOX files exported from Thunderbird, and I need to convert them into EML format so I can open them individually in other email clients. I am looking for a simple and reliable method that does not cause any data loss. Does anyone know an easy way or a good tool to perform this conversion?
