You opened to see the heart, when the problem could be on a feet... :oops: :oops:

First of all, you need to do a proper diagnose to check what's wrong. Opening a drive just to take a look it's not what you first need to do...

@OP, unless your friend needs data off this drive, I'd recommend that you just toss it now. A drive of that density which has been opened outside a clean room environment is just a ticking time bomb even if you do manage to "fix" it.

Better stop "playing" with this hdd if your frend need data.
Firstly what happens to the drive? And then you need proper tools to diagnos ptoblem.

This drive is virtually gone ,In the last 1 month i am fedup with tempered drives coming for recovery
