Reliable online casinos in UK after scam experience

Signed up at a casino a few weeks ago, everything looked fine at the start. Played a bit, won more than I lost, seemed like decent luck. Then I tried withdrawing some of the winnings and they instantly blocked my account. Turns out the whole thing was a scam operation. At least I didn't throw too much money at them. Any proper casinos in the UK that aren't dodgy?

Getting scammed by dodgy casinos happens more than people think, they set up shop quickly and disappear just as fast. The good run you had was probably bait to get you depositing more before they pulled the rug. Proper licensed casinos in the UK are regulated by the Gambling Commission, they can't just freeze accounts and nick your money. Check for the UKGC licence number on any site before you put money in, that's the main thing.

Mate, that's rough getting burned like that. Once bitten twice shy and all that. At least you didn't dump loads of cash in before they showed their true colours. Look for casinos that have been around for a while and actually have reviews from real punters, not just fake five-star nonsense. You could check out 1red-casino in the UK here https://1red-casinouk.com/ . They've got proper licensing sorted so you won't end up in the same mess again.
