Portable IMMO & Key Programmer Purchase

I’m thinking about getting a portable IMMO/key programming tool for field jobs. I found one with automatic PIN reading, transponder cloning, and remote generation for multiple brands. The page shows which chip types it supports (ID46, ID48, ID4D, Megamos, etc.) and that it works both via OBD and EEPROM adapters. Anyone bought such portable programmers? Do they generally match the claimed chip coverage?

Chip coverage in these tools is generally accurate, but keep in mind that some models don’t handle all transponder types entirely on their own. For chips like ID48, ID4A and some of the newer encrypted versions, the device may ask for additional paid calculations through an online service. It’s better to clarify this in advance so you don’t end up with unexpected extra costs during a job.

If you want a portable IMMO/key tool, check ECUTools — they list chip compatibility, OBD/EEPROM functions, supported remotes, and whether extra calculations are needed. They also show what’s included, which helps avoid missing adapters when working on-site. Here’s the link https://ecutools.eu/
