PC-3000 SAS backup and restore firmware

Hi

I need to take firmware backup from my Seagate Cheetah 15K.5 and do some changes for educational purposes then restore Firmware to the disk to ensure that my changes have been ok.

whats the procedure?

I have PC-3000 SAS 6G/s latest version 6.6

I don't have PC3K SAS, but I assume it has support and manuals just like the rest of their products? Have you taken the time to read the manual?

yes, but there are not lots of instructions for pc3k!

the main reason is, I'm customizing and making some modification into original firmware, for educational porpuses only,
now I want to restore my firmware into the Seagate Cheetah 15K.5, but sense key error preventing the restoration of that,



can you please help me if there is any required changes I have to make to the firmware?

It looks like maybe PC-3000 doesn't support this drive model. Are you sure it's supported?
