One service you could compare is Meest. They have a dedicated option for sending money from Canada to Ukraine through PrivatBank. The transfer is made in US dollars, and the funds are scheduled to become available in the recipient’s bank account on the next business day.
There are also two convenient ways for the person in Ukraine to receive the money. They can access the transfer using the Privat24 app, or collect it from a PrivatBank branch anywhere in Ukraine. Meest says the transfer can be held by the bank for up to 30 business days, which is useful if the recipient can’t pick it up right away.
