there are 2 types of PCBs (USB) in WD
for 1 type you use the Samsung adapter
for the other type you use Toshiba adapter (upside down)
the easiest way to determine what adapter to use
use a multimeter
check for continuity E2 and E7 (RX/TX)
the most important thing is the timing provided power
