Manual PST Compression in Outlook Not Working: Fix Needed

I have been trying to manually compress my PST file in Outlook to reduce its size after deleting a large number of emails, but it does not seem to be working. Even after using the “Compact Now” option, the file size remains almost the same. Has anyone else faced this issue? What could be the reason Outlook is not reducing the PST size even after manual compression? Please suggest an effective solution or a reliable tool to fix this problem.

If you're trying to manually compress your PST file in Outlook, but it's not working, there could be several reasons. Outlook PST files typically increase in size even after you've deleted old emails. I used Softaken Compress PST Software, and my PST file size decreased instantly. This tool is very simple and works without even opening Outlook. It safely compresses the file while maintaining the Deleted Items and Junk folders. If your PST is full and manual compression isn't working, this tool is very helpful.
