How to transfer ETH from Linea to mainnet?

I recently won some ETH in a crypto lottery, but the payout only went through Linea. I set up a quick wallet to claim the funds, and now I need to pull everything back to Ethereum mainnet. Gas fees on L1 look insane right now, and I really don't want to burn half my prize on transfer costs. What is the cheapest way to make this transfer?

Mainnet gas can eat your profits alive if you transfer during peak network activity. The simplest route is to deposit your ETH into an exchange account on Binance or Bybit using their Linea network option. Once the funds land in your account, you just request a normal mainnet withdrawal. This method usually locks in a flat fee, which keeps your costs way lower than running complex contracts on-chain.

Exchange deposits often trigger random security holds or force you through mandatory ID verifications for fresh wallet addresses. You keep total control over your funds if you stay on-chain. You can use a bridge with Linea here: https://defiway.com/bridges/bridge-eth-linea-ethereum . The platform picks an optimal path to route your tokens so you pay minimal gas fees. The funds hit your mainnet address in a couple of minutes without any surprise verification holds.
