How do I clean up movie posters for my site?

I'm adding a movie section to my site and found a few posters in really good resolution that would fit perfectly. The problem is that some of them have small watermarks in the corner, and I haven't been able to find clean copies at the same quality anywhere else. I really don't want those marks showing up on the site if I can avoid it. What's the easiest way to clean them up without ruining the posters?

Man, I'd first see how much of the mark is actually touching the artwork. If it's sitting over a plain bit of background, you may be able to clean it up pretty neatly without spending ages on it. For something like that, you could open the poster in Photopea and use the clone or selection tools to work around the mark. The difficult ones are the marks crossing faces, lettering, or detailed artwork, because those usually need a bit more careful retouching.

That's where I'd want something with more control, because one bad patch on a poster is going to catch your eye every time you open that page. A proper editor makes it easier to work around small details and clean the area without making the fix obvious. You can use this Photoshop web editor here: https://fotoo.pics/en/edit_photo . Zoom in and work on the marked area in small sections instead of trying to wipe it out in one pass. Once you're done, you can crop and resize the poster there before putting it on the site.
