does it possible for such contamination??

IPA stands for isopropyl alcohol. I suspect that most of the contamination came from the piece of foam tape stuck to the lid and that there was not much between the platters. What was between the platters could have been removed with swabs. Also, perhaps there was not much data to be recovered, increasing the odds of recovering a high percentage of it. No doubt the low areal density of the drive also helped.

You notice they said the drive was contaminated, but not that there was scratches on the platters. I'd suspect that it was just opened by a customer outside a clean room, and that are just referring to that contamination.
