After I manage to get the disk out of BUSY mode, will it be accessible on regular SATA? or is it a must to do some maintenance via Terminal first?

The thing is that for this 7200.14 there is not much information regarding the terminal firmware fixes, and I understand that the famous solution available for 7200.11 does not always work and is very risky on 14 series
