Can you dropship brands like Louis Vuitton?

I’ve been looking at higher-ticket products for a new dropshipping store, and luxury fashion obviously caught my attention. Bags and accessories from brands like Louis Vuitton already have people willing to spend serious money, so the demand is there. What I can’t figure out is whether you can sell products like that through dropshipping or if designer brands have completely different rules. Has anyone looked into this?

I wouldn’t build the store around a supplier saying they can get designer bags until you know exactly what you’re allowed to sell. With regular dropshipping you can switch products pretty easily, but putting a famous brand name all over the store brings a whole different set of questions. Get clear proof of where the merchandise comes from and what rights you actually have to resell it before putting money into ads.

That supplier part is exactly where I’d slow down. Someone saying they can ship you a Louis Vuitton bag is one thing, but that doesn’t tell you whether you can actually sell it this way.
