It's stil illegal, no matter. You can't sell what you don't own, and that code is the intellectual property of the manufacturer.

Now, if you call it a "service" to pull the firmware from a particular drive and provide it, that might be semi-legal.

Either way, there's a lot of us who freely share our resources with each other. So I doubt anyone here is interested in paying you.
