4t = 4tb? 2tb usually takes 14-17 hours, so i would not use the systemrescue thing, if you even typed source and target the right way

does anyone know what does the HDDsc tool even show as the final result and which one should show the rescued sector count/data amount? ddresc probably showed this on a separate line, although how did it even manage to read that if/and why windows was not able to read it ???

i havent tested these apps yet, but would it be possible to clone just 1 partition to another bigger drive also(which would also have only 1 partition)?

so now i tried this a bit and immediately noticed probably the same exact stuff that i was trying to ask about... there is no need to install hwinfo, because i got most of the very useful info with these commands: lsblk -f sudo fdisk -l and if i want to get a direct copy from disk to disk...

could i get some data back with a replacement board or how is it done usually? atm it just makes 2 noises - starts with 1 brring noise or smth and then some other noise comes in 7 second intervals(like a pause in the brring)... it probably does not even make the regular spin-up sound at all and...
