Hello.
I have a mirror glass to get well ..
Do you think I can use encoder 1 or encoder 2 is a good match for the patient hard drive?

Nice .. so it should be possible then.

I see you write that head 0 was disabled. but the WD30NMZW. but the WD30NMZW has 2 heads disabled at the factory?

on my WD30NMZW has 2 disabled heads 2 and 9
I suspect they have different combinations of disabled heads on the 3TB model, knowing that, in theory, they only need 3/4 the number of heads as the 4TB model. But, all the heads were physically present in the 3TB patient I was working with, as I imagine is the case for most, if not all, of them. It just makes sense to use the 4TB as the donor to make sure that you do have all the necessary heads.

Keep in mind that 3Tb and 4Tb PCBs aren't always cross-compatible. For the 4Tb ones you need the -002 version SATA board. So you'll get that if you try using a PebbleB SATA PCB too.
