Corrupt Micro SD

Hello all,

Sorry if this has been asked in the past, I tried doing a forum search but a lot of the information goes over my head. I have a Micro SD card that I have been using in my cell phones for the last 5 years or so. Recently I noticed that my phone could not locate/read the card anymore and after doing some research it seems that the card may have become corrupted somehow.

I tried to do a recovery via the MS cmd prompt, however, when I run it, it returns ...
Corruption was found while examining files in directory \Android\data\com.spotify.music\files\spotifycache\Users\22qrqnceiwupl5j4uqhqwzijy-user\ (0).
Corruption was found while examining files and directories.
Corruption was found while examining the volume bitmap.
An error occurred while recovering lost files.

I have been looking for some recovery software and have downloaded a few, but each one seems to find varying amounts of data and none of them will allow me to extract the amount of data that I need.

All in all what I really want to restore are the photos on the card more than anything else and the tools I have installed range anywhere from 5 - 11 GB worth of photos on the card with trial versions allowing from 100MB - 2 GB.

Are there any free options that you could recommend that would allow me to recovery that much? and if not what is the best recommendation for a paid program to do so?

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

First of all, you should image the card to a file for instance (like DDRescue or HDDsuperclone), and after you run software to get the data.
You can use Rstudio or Reclaime for instance to find your files.

So, here is the solution to your query:-

1) First, connect your SD card via card reader to your personal computer or laptop.
2) Then select and scan the SD card to recover your deleted media files.
3) After the scanning is completed, you can view your lost media files such as images, videos, audio, etc.
4) Select the media files that you want to restore and click on the Restore button to save the changes.

If your lost media files are not recovered using the above steps, then you need to use a third party tool, i.e. [glow=red]SPAM REMOVED BY ADMIN[/glow] software. This is one of the best software to restore your deleted media files such as pictures, audios, videos.

To anyone reading this post, this was another lame attempt by Stellar data recovery to SPAM their garbage products on this forum. They've been banned here because their only method of peddling their junk software is by lying to people, pretending to be end users of their own products, and trying to trick people into buying their crap. Don't fall for it. Stellar software is junk that no one should buy.
