New "cheaper" tools than HDDSurgery

Can anyone explain how that "platter extractor" is supposed to grab the platter when it's on the spindle? That thing would have to be thinner than a human hair to even have a chance of squeezing through that microscopic gap.

Oh, so they'll basically just mail you a tool that barely works and then drop support for it when people start complaining. Lol.

HDDheadtools is from DFL.

But maybe it's a chinese manufacturer that sells to all of them.

Stuff is always cheaper in china then dfl website ,You just need to use and have sources

Yes, HDDheadtools is a DFL website but the images say Recovery R Us which appears to belong to SD.

If it's good quality and works!
If anyone is sitting on the fence about these tools I did a quick test run of both the platter stand and removal tools and I like them. I wasn't actually expecting them to be as nice as they are.
