What do you use to "preview" files to clients?

For those of you who offer previews to clients where they can decide whether it's worth paying for the recovery or not, what software do you use, why do you like it or not? We're looking into a bunch of options and I would love to hear some feedback from people who have experience with various tools.

Thanks!

Edit: This is about doing things post-recovery, not previewing things prior to recovering the data itself.

Usually a preview is only made by some screenshots or similar.
After that I use Snap2Html or Snap2IMG to create a report of files to send to the client (but this has to be done after data is recovered).

Same as PCLAB. I have also used remote support with "switch sides" so the customer can watch me browse through the data and ask to see anything in particular. Snap2HTML is great but Snap2IMG often generates way too may thumbnails and I sometimes spend too much time removing folders with just few thumbnails, leaving the "meat and potatoes" folders. As mentioned, you need to do the recovery in order to preview the results -- I don't see any way to do otherwise.

I'll add another +1 for Snap2HTML, it's great for that. However, just as a caution, you'd be wise to set a threshold where not paying isn't an option anymore.

For example, when it's any sort of hardware level recovery my guarantee is always 70%. So when I recover 99.9% of the data, they're required to pay regardless of what the 0.1% of lost data is. But, I still find Snap2HTML useful for sending to out of state clients so they can confirm that their data was actually recovered. Even then, I only really do that if they request it. Most often I just send the list of bad sector files and reassure them that everything else was recovered. Most people are happy with that.

+3
but only black and white
??? (scratches head) Oh, you're referring to Snap2IMG, no doubt. I'll have to try that to cut down on the file size.
