What's new in version 8.8:

* Added decryption of TrueCrypt/VeraCrypt-encrypted storages:
- Support of both password and file-based encryptions;
- Support of AES, Serpent, Camellia and Twofish decryption algorithms (no chains);
- Support of RIPEMD160, SHA-1, SHA-256, SHA-512 and Whirlpool hash functions;
- Tests automatically standard/hidden and main/backup header locations.
* VMFS file system:
- Added automatic assembly of multi-extent and big (over 16TB) volumes;
- Fixed bug of VMFS/VMFS6 scan when partition start is not aligned properly.
* Added 'Drobo BeyondRAID Assistant' tool (Wizard mode):
- Selection of any disks for analysis (including spare, replaced etc.);
- Quick asynchronous scan for lost metadata;
- Caching of scan results to speed-up work with multiple configurations and/or volumes;
- Support of 1..8-disk RAID sub-configurations built on any number of disks in set;
- Automatic, semi-automatic and manual drive numbers assignment.
* Reworked usability of checkboxes on tree view of 'Explorer' UI;
* NTFS file system:
- Added procedure of files recovery using $LogFile content;
- Added indication and blocked copying of non-synchronized files from OneDrive;
* Enabled following symbolic links in Explorer (when possible);
* Fixed bug with copying error when source to target is copied root to root;
* Added displaying of metadata files to result of indexing of HFS+ file system.

What's new in version 8.9:

* Flash-Friendly File System (F2FS) support: access, map of used blocks, scan;
* Support of Enmotus FuzeDrive storages;
* Added function of clearing 'read status map' for certain storage types:
- Function is added to drive/partition context menu of supported storages;
- Implemented clearing 'read status map' for SDLSP files, including 'on-demand images';
* DeepSpar disk imager:
- Implemented and added 'Clear Map' function (in disk context menu and on disk imager tab);
- In disk imager: added option for fast background imaging under full control of DDI;
- Added DDI Activity Monitor tool (available through disk context menu);
- Added DDI Terminal tool invocation to disk context menu;
- Opening the same terminal now activates exsting window (if present);
- Title of terminal window now includes DDI ID, project ID and IP;
- Fixed bug with read errors caused by unexpected UDP packets arrival.
* Decryption of BitLocker volumes:
- Show 'Recovery key identifier' in password entry dialog to identify recovery key;
- Support of incomplete encryption/decryption (Windows 7-10, Server 2008R2-2019);
- Indication of partitions with incomplete BitLocker encryption/decryption;
* In Explorer dialog:
- Files copying now hides preview/hexadecimal viewer panel to release space for log;
- 'Preview' button on toolbar now have sub-menu to open hex panel or last copying log;
* Added 'read' support of UDF file system from partitions with 512/4K sector size;
* Fixed problem reading ATA SMART under 32bit Windows;
* Under Linux/Mac: restoring 'owner' RWX permissions for copied files (when available).

What's new in version 8.10:

Added support of LUKS2 decryption:
- Supported transform functions: pbkdf2/argon2i/argon2id;
- Supported hashes: SHA-1/SHA-256/SHA-512;
- Supproted encryptions: AES/Serpent/Twofish/Blowfish (XTS or CBC);
Rework of ZFS file system scan procedure:
- Now works on any supported ZPool configuration;
- Added scan support of Oracle RAID-Z mirror-style metadata;
- Better recovery of file system structure, including names/structure of lost datasets;
In Explorer dialog of scan result:
- Function of manual renaming files and folders via 'Properties' dialog;
- Adjusting (reducing) file size via 'Properties' dialog;
- Deleting unrequired files from scan result (with 'Del' button; support of files only);
Direct access to ZFS file system:
- Changed displaying of datasets to 'natural' tree structure instead of flat list;
- Fully reworked assembly of ZPools to support multiple RAID-Z VDevs and mirroring;
Disk imaging with map (used/free space, selected files etc.):
- Added 'policy' of combining segments for map optimization (to ignore small 'gaps');
- Added 'Evaluate fragments' tool for assistance with selection of 'combining policy';
In file copying procedure:
- Added 'Skip all' option to 'Failed to save..' dialog of current copying session;
- Changed to 'smooth' total progress and added indication of 'remaining size';
- Added displaying of 'Stated time' and 'Completion time estimate' values.

What's new in version 8.11:

* Added iSCSI Target Server for mounting storages to operating system:
- Setting up of any storages or partitions as iSCSI targets (from context menu);
- Read-only iSCSI access locally or over LAN (no authentication);
- Support of Microsoft iSCSI Initiator (Windows), open-iscsi (Linux), globalSAN (Mac);
- Trial limitation of target size is set to 5368709119 sectors (2.5TB);
* Btrfs: fixed issue with assembly of multi-device volumes for direct access;
* ReFS3 file system:
- Fixed problem with incorrect behavior of pause->preview->resume scan sequence;
- Updated 'read' and 'scan' modules to support the latest file system version;
* Handling of disks with reported non-standard big sector sizes (4160, 4176 etc.);
* Extended file system object attributes (custom named properties):
- Reworked procedure of restoring attributes when copying data (Windows, Linux, Mac);

* XFS file system: added support of multi-block directory clusters;
* ZFS file system:
- Added support of file system block sizes up to 1MB (for OpenZFS);
- Added support of undelete after 'long deletion' of big files (multi-transaction).

What's new in version 8.12:

* Updated RAID builder dialog:
- Added support of selecting multiple components for 'bulk operations';
- Support of 'Move', 'Remove', 'Edit size' and 'Revert size' via 'bulk operations';
* ReFS3: fixed several compatibility issues (support of resident and named pointers);
* Added 'metadata objects filtering' functions to file copying procedure:
- Pre-defined types of metadata files and folders can be optionally skipped;
- Procedure can be enabled, disabled and configured via software 'Settings';
- 'Save selection (advanced)' function has option to override default settings;
- Pre-defined metadata for NTFS system files, Synology folders, Apple resources;
* File saving conflict (duplicate file action):
- In default pop-up window added option to abort copying;
- Added pre-configured setting to overwrite file 'if new file is modified later';

* Fixed read/quick scan of HFS+ with 'overflowed' fragmentation of Catalog File;
* Software version for macOS:
- Adopted and optimized GUI to specifics of Big Sur (macOS 11);
- Software optimization for better translation to ARM64 (Apple M1) via Rosetta.

What's new in version 8.13:

* Added function of access to network disks via built-in iSCSI client:
- Full support of discovery and communication with UFS Explorer iSCSI Targets;
- Support of third-party SAN/iSCSI targets (require multi-host/cluster support);
- Authentication, multi-LUN targets and single-connection mode are not supported;
* iSCSI Target server: added function to attach/detach local disk (under Windows);
* WD MyCloud storages:
- Added indication of MyCloud volumes;
- Added support of newer metadata format (version 156);
- Type of file system transformation is set for them as 'MyCloud' by default;
* Added indication of sector/cluster number on hexadecimal viewer;
* Added separate field for copyable sector indicator to hex data inspector;
* Fixed bug reading partially encrypted B-tree on APFS;
* APFS: fixed B-tree reconstruction bug in scan procedure;
* HFS+: fixed bugs reading of damaged B-tree;
* XFS: fixed bug reading named attributes;
