hello to you all
i have a question
i see two IC's on usb board
one of them is 602 which is ROM
another is 606 i think its is the encryption IC.
is that correct?
i can not reach the data after is swap 602 IC. also in sector editor at sector 0 i see the data similar like it is encrypted!
is it possible that this kind of toshiba usb boards is like WD boards that had encryption data IC so in normal cases after ROM swap you can not access to data unless you use pc3000 utility to decrypt the IC codes so after that you can reach the data?

I'm pretty sure this one was already on the list. But, if you know any others please do post them :D

I don't think there's an encryption here. It's just an Arabic writings probably based on your region. Why not create a task and do an analysis of the partition.

Who said anything about it being encrypted? I thought he was just showing that that USB model was being read in the utility using the SATA board he mentioned.
