That goes away once you reach enough posts. It's insulting by design to force you to be more active

Happy to hear your case worked out.

Hi,
I wired it up and i was able to access it with my data connector .I did not change to data board as i have no idea which one to use .But i am sure that the latest slim 1 platter + 2 head toshibas i see in the indian market should have a sata board that 100% compatible to this i need to find it out .Just go to my Facebook page and scroll down a bit you will see a board with 4 cables thats the one i made .But i should reduce the length of the cable .I wanted to ask you all have you ever measured the capacitor specs for caps in series .Might be i can design a board with these caps so that better noise handling and electrical surges can be managed if we manually wire the board up to sata

Taken from DFL forum:

Users can use this donor SATA PCB-G3918A to convert the Toshiba USB PCB G3959A to compatible SATA PCB.
It’s not easy to find separate SATA PCB G3918A, users usually need to buy a whole hard drive for PCB swap which is costly. Now we have got 15 pieces of separate SATA PCBs of G3918A, after selling out these 15 pieces, no more.
