Toshiba Terminal Commands

Tue May 22, 2018 1:11 pm

So I don't currently have much to contribute here, but maybe some others can help turn this into a worthwhile sticky topic. I'll just add the one that I've recently learned and see if more follows.

Toshiba Terminal Commands

Enter Key (Should respond with ">" prompt)
>NVA (disables the NAND flash on SSHDs)
>HP (output list of supported commands)

There's more here on HDD Oracle as well, but given that I've never used them I can't accurately describe what any of them do.

I only use Toshiba terminal for pressing "enter" to get drive ready so ROM can be read, try hot-swap, clear g-list/smart, or try reading with utility. The SSHD command may be useful but so far I've always been able to turn this off using utility.
