Salesforce Data Recovery

$10,000 just to get a pack of CSV's from a database backup file.... I'm in the wrong line of data recovery work.

It isn't cheap or easy to recover data from a database stored in the cloud...especially if the data has been deleted.

True, but at those recovery prices I'd bet they're keeping a weekly backup of the original files. Only need to have one customer pay for recovery to justify backing up all of them.
