Usually I use R-Studio. Occasionally I might use UFS Explorer. It's pretty easy in most cases. Might take a little bit of guessing at the settings but unless there are a lot of drives there's only so many possible configurations.

Wow, someone really wanted to lose their data.

In a case like that with 720 possible drive rotations, it's probably best to analyze the MFT entry numbering then. I can do it for you remotely if you're willing to share some of the $$$ that you are billing the client.
