Can this SSD be recovered?

Didn't want it anymore and didn't want to resell it either, so I used secure erase to securely erase it, and tried to recover from it afterwards and nothing was recovered. Then I used a nipper to cut all parts of it, including cutting all the flash memorys on it down to pieces.

It may seem like a stupid question but I am asking mostly out of curiosity.

Can it be recovered?

I don't get the obsession with destroying perfectly good hardware to erase data. Too many people keep reading conspiracy theories perpetuated by morons with no understanding of the technology.

The moment you did the secure erase the SSD generated a new encryption key and became forever unrecoverable. Cutting the NAND chips was just a waste of a perfectly good SSD.
