Challenger Family SA Access

So I see that Dolphin has an unlocked PCB for the challenger family PCBs that are SED locked by the PCB itself. (specifically board 2060-800067).

Has anyone confirmed if it's safe to modify the SA on this family (assuming I buy the $500 PCB)? I know you can't really touch Palmer family SA without nuking the data, but what about Challenger?

I am also curious about this issue. if they done it successfully we can do it ourselves. Well SED drive lock is a pain in a** but I guess it is solvable. I've started to look for solutions. When I find a clue I will post here.
