Hello! I have a big problem with cerber3 ransomware in my laptop  . I think I tried almost everything:
- Antivirus app's (Nod32, CureIt)
- Antimalware applications (Malwarebutes antimalware, Adwcleaner, Malwarebytes antiransomware)
- Trend Micro decrypt tool ( https://success.trendmicro.com/solution/1114221 )
- Manual guides (http://manual-removal.com/cerber3/)
- ShadowExplorer (http://www.shadowexplorer.com/downloads.html)
- Recuva (https://www.piriform.com/recuva)
And the result is 0 files decrypted! Is there any method that can help me to recover files or the only way out is to pay hackers for decrypiton?

I didn't realize there was a Cerber 3 out yet. I just handled a Cerber 2 case for a client, and the final solution ended up being to pay the criminals. Unfortunately these viruses are getting increasingly good at preventing data recovery if you don't have a backup.

To be frank, until now, there is still no effective way to decrypt the files encrypted by Cerber3 Ransomware freely. This makes the decryptor tool and a private key provided by cybercriminals the only direct decryption. All we can do now is to scan the PC with a malware removal tool and make sure there are no viruses in the system. Wait patiently for a new free decryption utility. Or, you can first try the guides provided in this article http://guides.uufix.com/how-to-remove-cerber3-ransomware-and-recover-files. But I am not sure they will be effective.

Beware of new version on Cerber ransomware, so called ****.files can damage your data in the same way that cerber does, thus to prevent it read the description there http://soft2secure.com/news/****-files-virus. This source boasts to recover this virus as well as Cerber 3.

[glow=red]Moderater note[/glow]: If you are a representative of the company who makes this software you are free to post about it here. But if I get the sense that you are pretending to be a user of the software and then recommending it all the time, you'll not only be banned but I'll remove your links and replace them with a warning to never buy your products.

Currently, there is no wy to decrypt .cerber files, but I think, you might find out many useful things about decryption here:
hxxp://it-help.info/2828-how-to-decrypt-files-and-restore-information
BTW there are links to the most reputable websites where the decryptor for .cerber files will appear first.

[glow=red]Moderator Note:[/glow]It doesn't seem that the article linked to here has any actual useful information regarding this subject, so I have to assume this is just SPAM. I've blocked the link so it doesn't work now. Any more posts like this and you'll get banned too. There's no specific rules here against self promotion other than the fact that you need to be honest in representing who you are and if you represent a specific company or site, and if you're going to post a link to an article on a thread it needs to actually be relevant and contain useful information.

I love how my family filters changed the extension to ".poop"

LOL. I never even noticed that it had been changed from its normal name (the English word for merde). Let's see if your filters speak French. :)

Edit: Nope!

It's a manual filter I made to just filter out the worst swear words that are likely to get my website categorized as "not family friendly". I'm not trying to limit free speech, just keeping out the worst bad words.

It's rather that the Cerber is evolving really fast. Some of its versions get cracked and the victims actually get the decryption tool for free, but the new release does not offer the same vulnerabilities so that there is no quick and sure and ultimate decryption routine; the latest update it has just surfaced, it is named after its ransom not help_help_help 2017 Cerber :geek:  http://sureshotsoftware.com/guides/cerb ... help-help/
