unallocated partition - ddrescue

Hi i have a HDD i cant access and recover.
The partition seems to be unallocated in Gparted.
It cant be found with fdisk -lu
meanwhile, dmesg finds it but gives a lot of errors.
Still tried with ddrescue, but of course i couldnt do anything

Im a real idiot at this, so maybe someone can help???+

It's not able to read sector 0, which normally isn't a problem for ddrescue as it'll just skip ahead and continue trying to read. However, obviously, that's not working.

I would guess that your drive's issue is worse off than just a few bad sectors. Perhaps it has a firmware issue preventing data translation and reding, or perhaps it has a failed read/write head preventing it from working. It's likely you'd need professional tools like PC-3000 to get any further with it.

If the data is worth more than a few hundred dollars, it's certainly worth letting a data recovery company evaluate it.
