Toshiba Slim Models

I think I need more explanations, and I don't know what exactly am doing wrong.. I never had success with slim Toshiba and Seagate Head replacement procedures.
I do others quite well and successful, but slim models are just too complex. How easy does it get for you guys ? Please can you share some details about it ? Thanks

The Toshibas are a breeze to work on. I don't think I've ever had a head swap fail on them. Seagate is always a pain, so no real shock there.

Just be sure that whatever spacer you're putting in between the heads isn't too thick and is possibly bending or twisting the heads. You need a piece of rubber that fits just right between there and doesn't bend them too far back. Also be really careful putting the heads back onto the ramps, as that's where many heads get killed. You have to watch the little tracks carefully and be sure everything is lining up just right. If you force it at all you'll twist the arm and the head will be ruined.
