I have a client how brought in a Toshiba 1TB External DTB410 : PCB G4330A
When plugging in, the drive doesn't seem to be getting any power. I have tired a known working cable.
Closer Inspection of the PCB / USB interface it looks like some of the soldered connections on the PCB are loose. ( See below photo ) i was thinking ill try and reflow these points and then test again, and if that still doesn't work, then i think ill need to find a replacement Board so i can do the Bios Swap. Any one elce have this issue with this type of drive / any suggestions welcome.
