Seagate F3 sysfile and Rom Generating questions

Sorry for my silly questions

1. Can we read F3 sysfile of seagate hdd without native pcb using either HOT SWAP or SMART HOT SWAP?

2. If Yes Let me know the method with steps ( having only STCom Tool, Victoria, HyperTerminal, ZOC)

Since I m asking this questions to generate ROM for F3 Drives. ( Already for ST2000DL003 created ROM using some sysfiles codes)


Once again sorry for my silly questions since i m trying to get rom for ST500DM002, Someone may be know the way but till now not shared

To answer your questions:

1. No
2. There's a couple guys who supposedly know how to rebuild lost F3 ROM, but they aren't willing to share it with anyone and want a small fortune to do it.
