PC to run R-Studio

Hi Guys

Usually I ran Studio on quad-core Q6600 with 3 or 4gb of RAM.
With the latest 8.3 version, it crashes... I have tested also on a i5 3.2ghz, with 20gb of ram and also crashes (in one case already copying files to the new HDD, and on another crashes when opening the results).
I have already contacted support, they told me it could be lack of RAM but on the i5 it should work, right?
I'm waiting for a new reply but meanwhile what systems do you have?

I have already bought an i7 with 16GB of RAM (it's an used system) but it should work fine...

I'm running it mostly on a computer with an i5 and 32Gb of RAM. Haven't had much of any crashing issues. Make sure you're running it in a 64-Bit OS though. If you're running it in 32 bit Windows, the program will be capped at how much RAM it can use and it'll keep crashing.

Here's the full specs of what I'm using: new-pc-3000-express-rig-t1129.html?hilit=new%20rig#p3589

It's also my PC-3000 machine. I've got a few extra workstations for when it's overloaded, but most often I'm just working on the one machine. The huge RAID I've got attached makes logical scans pretty quick afterward.
