Outlook Not Responding – Will Compacting PST Help?

I have been facing frequent “Not Responding” issues in Outlook whenever I try to open or search emails. My PST file has grown quite large over time, and I suspect this might be the cause of the slowdown. I came across the option to Compact PST in Outlook, but I am not sure if it will actually fix the issue or just free up a little space. Has anyone tried compacting their PST file to solve Outlook performance issues? Will it help in reducing the “Not Responding” problem, or should I look for some other solution?

If your Microsoft Outlook is repeatedly showing “Not Responding” or is running slowly, then one of the reasons for this could be that your PST (Personal Storage Table) file is large and fragmented. PST files store your emails, contacts, calendars, and other data. As the file grows larger and space is freed up by deleted or moved items, the file becomes fragmented. I was recently struggling with the problem of my Outlook PST file being too large in size. Due to this, Outlook had slowed down, and there was also difficulty in opening the file. Then I came to know about Softaken Compress PST Software. This software proved to be very helpful for me. With the help of this tool, I compressed my PST file easily and safely. Its user interface is very simple and user-friendly.

Special features of Softaken Compress PST Software:

Compresses PST files without data loss.
Converts large files into smaller sizes, which saves space.
Supports any version of the PST file.
Very fast and reliable tool.

I have improved my Outlook performance by using this software. If your PST file size is increasing and you are facing difficulty in managing the file, then I would recommend you try this.
