Is it possible to rent a car in Alicante?

I want to invest in real estate in Spain, specifically in the resort city of Alicante, so that I can spend time there myself from time to time and also rent the villa out to tourists. I’m planning to fly there soon to look at options on site, and I’ll need a car to get around the city. Where could I rent one there?

Why wouldn’t there be places to rent a car there? It’s a resort, and people vacation there year-round. Of course, you can’t really enjoy the beach right now, but the entertainment centers are open. Many people go there just for that and rent a car locally to get around to different locations.
