EB-3 Visa PERM Processing Times February 2026 Explained

How much time did you spend in total on the PERM stage? They say this stage takes the longest. I probably have a long time to wait to move on to the I-140 petition. Tell me how you are doing with your EB-3 visa now.

And when was your PERM labor certification filed? This stage usually takes 16 to 17 months, so you really need to be patient. I am currently in the I-140 petition stage and also review the EB-3 visa processing times 2026 guide on the eb3.work website every month. If I remember correctly, the PERM stage took me just under a year and a half. The last update on this stage was only in early January and they are reviewing PERM applications that were filed in August 2024. Do you still have long to wait until you move on to the I-140 petition?
