I can no longer use my R-Studio standalone license

Thanks Luke…You’re right about the price. Right also about ReclaiMe. I no longer remembered that a long time ago they had put the Pro version in trial and I remember that I downloaded it and tried it. But I didn't like it because I found the analysis of the parameters to be very long and...

I can no longer use my R-Studio standalone license

Sorry for delay of reply guys. Ok..I have always purchased the Pro version or higher than the standard (UFS, Reclaime Ultimate, DMDE, WinHex Specialist…etc) thinking that rightly it had best and more features than standard. Some SW doesn’t have Technical license but commercial. Regarding...

I can no longer use my R-Studio standalone license

Maybe I had misunderstood...sorry. So who has no DDI and only PC3K has a technical package? It seemed to me that I understood in another forum that not everyone has the technical license, but maybe I will be wrong. In fact right now I saw that other guys had the license since 2013 or 2012...

I can no longer use my R-Studio standalone license

Jared I knew that DDI and R-TT had an relationship but I didn't think it was so morbid. Maybe they lost a customer, at least temporarily. Though that SW was part of my arsenal it was certainly not the best...on the contrary. Lucky were those who had bought DDI before the fateful relationship...

I can no longer use my R-Studio standalone license

Hi Guys, I don't know if it happened to you too, but I can no longer use my standalone license (or product for personal and business use) that I used for several years. I wrote to sales support and they told me that I have to go to the technical package ($ 899). There is a 30% discount, but...

    Promise Smartstore DS4600 4X2TB-RAID 5

Detailed and technical explanation Jared. In any case, a high-performance system affects, especially the destination unit. I find UFS very valuable especially with particular file system which R-Studio is still lacking. Right Luke :)

    Promise Smartstore DS4600 4X2TB-RAID 5

As I suspected ....the slowness of the copy is due to SW recalculating too small parity stripes (512Bytes). I copied the same files (4K) from an external hdd to another connected to the controller, and the copy was fast. Maybe this can be useful to someone.

    Promise Smartstore DS4600 4X2TB-RAID 5

Hi there, I do not know if you guys have had this problem, but it is the second NAS with the Virtual Array rebuilt by UFS that the copy operation on destination drive is terribly slow (about 460GB in 24 hours). These the parameters: parity rotation (left asynchronous), stripe (1 sector). I...

In DE better to save folders and the files or create a map?

Right Jared the bitmap is a valid option, also for unusual file system (Hfs+).

In DE better to save folders and the files or create a map?

You're right Jared, although during the building maps of folders the heads jumping here and there, but surely less stressful than copy. Unfortunately after the map of the folders sometimes (especially with file system HFS +) you have to scan with data recovery SW and this can be time consuming...

In DE better to save folders and the files or create a map?

Hi Guys, usually I always created a map of the most important folders and files and then I performed the scan, but I saw that some guys especially after heads swap using the option "save marked folders". In this way you have the same good control regarding the setting (jump, timeout..etc) and...
