If I'm right, if you use UFS Explorer it can "mount and see" the content of the drive.

I think that if WD does that (translator initialization when parts are replaced), that could be also bad for them if they want to do a recovery on their own, right? Because that would also make it impossible to be done by them....

Yeah, it was a translator issue.
The CS error on RAP also happens on a good drive (I also don't have many experience with that FW structure).
Case solved.

I think this can be an oportunity to deal with those cases of broken LCD/Touch and where the client just want to get the data out and not repair the equipment.
I'm my area that seems to be a requested job on the phone repair shops.

It will cost about 4250€ with 2 years of updates/support for now (it's a promotion they have).

So you compare the Preamp DAC values to find a donor match?
This could be helpful when you can't get that info if drive doesn't get ID or bad heads...
