The DFL-URE does much/most of those functions and isn't bogged down by the the OS. No idea how speed compares with the DDI add-on. Disgusting as they were, they were no worse than what I found on one drive I recovered. They were so bad, I had to zero the drive so I could get some work done! LOL. (It was a donated drive.)

Maybe they have read of the painful experiences some Carbonite users have endured when they tried to download their backups, or the backup is woefully out-of-date.
