M2 NVME to sata adapter

Merry Christmas to you and yours, Nissim. As I said, time to buy a USB-NVME adapter and put it to work. For $40 CAD, one recovery will pay for it. HDDSuperClone should work with it, I believe. Be sure to use the thermal heat sink pad with it as the processor tends to get rather warm.

Time to buy a USB-NVME adapter and start recovering data from these. This one is under $40 CAD.

Seagate 9HV 144 300

I don't believe that's the correct model number but they don't need the hard drive to test and repair the laptop. They can just use a Windows PE (Windows on a DVD or USB flash drive) and it should run okay, once the motherboard is repaired. Depending on what got soaked, it may be a total waste of ti...

One does firmware repair and imaging of USB drives while the other just allows imaging of USB drives. As far as the imaging goes, the stabilizer does not facilitate selective head imaging, varied time-outs, variable number of LBAs to skip on error selection, reverse imaging, or multi-pass imaging (u...

Dust particle Measuring Device

Still would like to see a side-by-side comparison with the Dylos 1100 Pro or a certified particle counter. I can see where having this would help those that use a vertical flow bench, as I suspect the air in the chamber/room needs to be purged of particles over the first few minutes of operation. Wi...

Cleaning HDD Heads & Platters

I find that cotton swaps leave fibers behind -- a horrible mess. These ones, at least: HUBY-BB-002.

Luke, how well did those sensor cleaners work? What cleaning solution did you settle on, if you don't mind sharing?

A side-by-side comparison with a Dylos 1100 Pro would be really interesting. Did the SPS30 come with all the requires software or was the Evaluation kit required for that? The Digi-Key cost for the SPS30 is $70 CAD but for the evaluation kit it's $128 CAD, plus shipping. The costs are slightly lower...

I'll let Jared answer that question, if I may.
