I was wondering what are the default configs most pros use when imaging a drive, obviously those settings will be adjusted with the diagnosed problem. Long story short:

ST3320418AS strange sound

This disk came by, and after plugin it into MRT, he stays BUSY. It makes a strange sound, not a clicking sound, its like a beep, but really hard to hear. I remember sometime ago someone had a folder on soundcloud with all seagate beeping sounds, does anyone still have it ?

I've had some cases so far, I had like 6 that were unrecoverable as there was no decryptor avaliable, and 4 or 5 others had noob vars of crypto, that were easily decrypted.

The problem with Crypto is that this coders learn with each other mistakes and every new variant is stronger... :twisted:
