How do Bitrix24 task robots actually work?

We use Bitrix24 for client projects, and I’m trying to automate what happens when tasks move through our Kanban. For example, when a task reaches review, I want another employee assigned, the original author added as an observer, and a subtask created for the final check. I opened the automation settings, but I’m getting lost between CRM robots, task robots, business processes, and all the places where they seem to be configured differently. How are robots in Bitrix24 tasks supposed to work, and where do I actually set this up?

Pick one action that happens every time a task changes stages and build around that first. The built-in task robots inside a project Kanban can handle things like changing the responsible person, adding observers, posting comments, creating subtasks, and moving the task to another stage. Set up one simple chain on a test project, move a task through the columns yourself, and watch what each robot does. Once that logic is clear, adding the rest becomes much easier.

The confusing part is that task robots only cover certain actions inside the Kanban, while more complicated connections with deals and existing tasks are handled through business processes. That distinction explains why some actions appear available in one place but not in another. You can read about Bitrix24 robots here: http://roboteka24.com/blog/roboty-v-zadachah-bitrix24/ . The article shows where task robots are enabled, what triggers them, and which actions they can perform. It also explains where their limits start and how tasks can be found or updated from CRM business processes.
