Its always.. blah, blah, blah.. Backblaze. I read the Backblaze study, now I am an expert in failure rates. It gets old, fast. I tell people that insist on using backblaze to make a decision to make sure they also buy the same hardware it was tested on to make sure they get the same results.

Don't think you can buy the devices themselves yet. Or adapters. Samsung have a slot they have designed that will take a microSD and a UFS card, but the only place so far UFS has been used is in mobile devices.. S6 and S7 phones for example.. and these were just BGA chips not MicroSD cards...

That's the easiest way, but you can extract the XOR from a drive as well that isn't prepared. It is described on the Rusolut site, but less experience in Flash means it will be a bit challenging to follow. Plus there are many different types, and some controllers don't XOR blank space etc.
