Hi guys I've got a macbook with Apple SSD AP0256H .
And few days ago was doing some cleaning on it through ccleaner.
And today I noticed that some important files are missing.
Tried softs like diskdrill,easeus,rstudio6 but didn't managed to find the lost files.
The setup for ccleaner looked like this https://imgur.com/a/XrLVIpm .
Will really appreciate if anyone can share a thought on what to do.
Many thanks

Use secure deletion - the more passes that CCleaner uses to overwrite the data, the harder it will be to recover. Wipe free space on drives, and wipe the MFT free space. For the utmost in security, use Recuva to find files that have already been deleted but still are recoverable, and then securely overwrite them.

Actually this is complete misinformation. A single-pass overwrite of any type, even just zeros is more than enough to make data forever unrecoverable. More passes doesn't make anything harder, it just wastes more electricity and time.
